The Alchemy Press' new Editorial Service is aimed for writers of fiction – both new and established writers – who require help with their manuscripts, be it a general edit for sense, pace, etc; or for the final line edit/proofread and layout before it is submitted for possible publication. We cater for writers of fantasy, horror, science fiction, supernatural, noir crime, etc, from the age of twelve years and up.

The Alchemy Press Editorial Service reserves to right not to offer its services on sight of the manuscript; if so, payment will not be sought.
The Alchemy Press Editorial Service does not guarantee publication. But a well edited and presented story or article will stand your work in good stead. This service is provided by the Alchemy Press' Peter Coleborn and Jan Edwards.

- For the first 50,000 words: £5.00 for per 1,000 words (minimum £20.00)
- For 50,000-80,000 words: £4.00 per 1,000 words
- Please contact us for rates for works in excess of 80,000 words
- Note: For stories over 10,000 words, we will prepare a sample edit of the first 2,000 words for free (you must send the complete manuscript)
- Word count will be rounded to the nearest 1,000 for pricing (i.e. ><500 words)
- Service includes preparing standard manuscript format
- For the first 50,000 words: £6.00 per 1,000 words (minimum £20.00)
- For 50,000 to 80,000 words: £5.00 per 1,000 words
- Over 80,000 words: please contact us for a quote
